With a high commitment to quality, KÖSTER stands behinds its products and customers. That’s why KÖSTER offers a comprehensive guarantee program for its TPO membranes: Premium and Premium Plus.
Upon conclusion of a warranty agreement, with KÖSTER Premium your roof is protected depending on the membrane thickness for a period of 10 to 20 years. Additionally, labor and material costs are insured during installation as well as any costs for the replacement of damaged parts included in the roofing system (such as wet insulation). With KÖSTER Premium Plus, protection goes a significant step further: any consequential damages incurred and resulting financial losses are covered by an extended product liability insurance policy from the leading German insurance company, Allianz AG.

Your benefits:
  • The warranty covers all KÖSTER roofing products from the current valid price list at the time of warranty issuance
  • Based on its proven quality over time, KÖSTER TPO membranes are additionally backed by a unique extended product liability insurance policy of 25 years from Allianz AG
  • After the installation of KÖSTER products has been completed, the installer receives an exclusive warranty certificate stating the project details and building owner
  • The warranty offers protection above and beyond the minimum legal requirements for a product warranty

Premium

Warranties must be requested individually for each construction project in advance. Warranties are valid for a period of 10, 12, 15, or 20 years. A warranty claim exists provided leakage in KÖSTER TPO membranes have resulted from material failure.

The warranty covers:

  • Up to 20 years for KÖSTER TPO membranes with a thickness of 2.0 mm
  • Up to 15 years material guarantee for KÖSTER TPO with a thickness of 1.8 mm and KÖSTER TPO Pro with a thickness of 2.0 mm
  • Up to 12 years material guarantee for KÖSTER TPO with a thickness of 1.5 mm* and KÖSTER TPO Pro with a thickness of 1.8 mm
  • Up to 10 years material guarantee for KÖSTER TPO with a thickness of 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm and for KÖSTER TPO Pro with a thickness of 1.5 mm
  • Free material replacement
  • Reimbursement of labor costs for the installation of membranes
  • Material replacement for any damaged components included in the roofing system
  • Reimbursement of labor costs for the replacement of any damaged components included in the roofing system

Premium Plus

Warranties must be requested individually for each construction project in advance. The warranty is valid for a period of 25 years. A warranty claim exists provided leakage in KÖSTER TPO membranes have resulted from material failure. The policyholder only pays a one-time surcharge per m² of roof area during the entire warranty period.

The warranty covers:

  • Up to 25 years for KÖSTER TPO membranes with a thickness of 2.0 mm
  • Free material replacement
  • Reimbursement of labor costs for the installation of membranes
  • Material replacement for any damaged components included in the roofing system
  • Reimbursement of labor costs for the replacement of any damaged components included in the roofing system
  • Compensation for consequential damage in general assets caused by defects are covered by an extended warranty period in the product liability insurance of Allianz AG
