Lani, leta 2022, se je začela temeljita prenova nekdanjega hotela Transturist v Škofji Loki. Prvotni hotel je bil odprt leta 1971 in je obratoval vse do leta 2005. Po zaprtju hotela je stavba dolga leta ostala zapuščena. Novi lastniki so imeli željo po obnovi stavbe in ponovnem odprtju hotela. Stavba je bila precej dotrajana in je bila potrebna temeljite sanacije od kletnih prostorov, pa vse do strehe. Dober del sanacije se je izvedel tudi s KÖSTER izdelki in materiali. Novi in prenovljeni Hotel Lonca sedaj ponosno odpira svoja vrata za obiskovalce.
